Eating Fat Increases Your Odds Of Success?

Discover the best fertility food you should eat all the time

It is possible to boost fertility via very simple means.  The tiny act of choosing to purposefully eat certain foods while avoiding others can have a dramatic effect on your ability to conceive a child. Every time you turn around, it seems some diet expert is telling you that all you need to do to cure any ailment is to exercise and eat right.

It would be nice to expose all this healthy eating advice as nonsense and continue eating French fries and Coke for breakfast without the incurrence of guilt.  The real facts, however, are very different. You are what you eat in almost every way.  Eating nutrient-poor foods leaves you with nothing to give, and this can actually lead to and exacerbate infertility.

Why Change the Menu to Get Pregnant?

For couples who feel like it would be easier to move the earth than to get pregnant, it is often surprising to learn that the very foods they eat are actually a key culprit undermining their every effort.   The bright side to this pronouncement of a need to adopt a “fertility diet” of sorts is that it is simple, and the benefits of increasing fertility make any sacrifices worthwhile.

Simple Changes that Boost Fertility

Well, perhaps fish is not the exact answer, but the high levels of fatty acids they contain are.  Fatty acids are one of the darlings of dietary research at the moment, and for good reason.  In recent decades, research shows that fatty acids have much more to do with the maintenance of a healthy body than was ever thought of a few short years ago.

Fatty acids help fight cancer, blood disease and diabetes.  Immerging research is also showing their potent effect on fertility.  Two of the main components of fatty acids are linoleic and alpha-linoleic acids.  The reproductive system, along with many other body systems, requires these two acids to maintain basic healthy function.  When not eaten in sufficient amounts, reproductive health suffers.

While fish is one of the best sources of fatty acids and is usually the first which springs to mind, it needs to be eaten in moderation by anyone who is pregnant or trying to conceive.

Fish that eat other fish in order to survive are often found to have high mercury levels, which can make eating too much fish counterproductive. Avoid fish like tuna and shark, instead choose salmon.  Other sources of fatty acids include nuts, flax seed, hemp oil, and soya oil.

Of course, many other foods increase fertility, but also some foods simply drag down fertility chances.  The high amounts of refined sugars and synthetic hormones in many foods, for instance, suppress fertility by throwing the delicate balance of natural body hormones out of line.
